Hi, I’m Daniel – a creative with nearly 20 years of experience in the industry. I started out at Jung von Matt in Hamburg and Berlin, then moved on to BBDO in Berlin and Düsseldorf, where I was part of the management team. In 2019, I joined OPTIMIST to help build a custom agency for Škoda in Prague. Now, I’m back in my hometown, setting up and growing OPTIMIST Berlin.

Born and raised in Berlin, I’ve always been drawn to contrasts—the raw energy, the unexpected collisions, the constant reinvention. That spirit of transformation is what fuels my work and keeps me curious.Outside of the creative world, I’m passionate about sports. In winter, you’ll find me playing ice hockey or skiing. In summer, it’s all about cycling and kitesurfing—nothing clears my head like being out on the water or flying down a trail.
